研究方向海洋蟹类分类学与系统演化  

主要聚焦于甲壳动物短尾下目(蟹类)的分类学及系统演化研究,在中国近海蟹类中发现1个新属和6个新种,对多个类群展开修订工作。近年来,在Zoosystematics and EvolutioZookeysZootaxa等分类学领域国际主流期刊发表多篇学术论文,参与编著专著一部,主持国家自然科学基金项目一项。
