张玉祥,男,副研究员,理学博士,主要从事俯冲带及海底火山岩研究,近年来围绕俯冲蛇纹岩组分对弧岩浆的影响和弧后盆地海底岩浆过程等方面开展了一系列研究。以第一作者在Science Advances、Earth and Planetary Science Letters、Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth、Journal of Petrology、Lithos等刊物发表研究论文10余篇。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、山东省自然科学基金青年基金等科研项目,作为研究骨干参与了国家973项目、国家自然科学基金委重大研究计划重点支持项目、中国科学院战略性先导专项项目、国家重点研发计划等。

研究成果:
(1)揭示俯冲蛇纹岩对弧岩浆氧逸度的控制作用,并对弧岩浆的挥发分通量有重要贡献;
(2)揭示冲绳海槽中部广泛存在海底岩浆混合过程,提出岩浆系统是海底热液系统的重要碳源;
(3)阐明橄榄石熔体包裹体补水过程中氢同位素和挥发分的行为。
