张树乾，理学博士，硕士生导师，中国科学院生物分类科学家岗位专家。从事海洋软体动物分类与系统演化方面的研究，利用形态结合分子的方法对中国近海和西太平洋深海多个软体动物类群进行了系统的分类学和系统演化研究。主持或作为主要参与人参加国家自然科学基金重大项目、面上项目、青年项目、科技部重点研发计划、山东省自然科学基金面上项目等课题10余项。目前已发表论文50余篇（第一或通讯作者43篇），参与编写专著5部，发现并描述贝类新种40余个新种，并建立了1个新亚科和2个新属。
