董栋，博士，副研究员，硕士生导师。2004年和2007年在中国海洋大学获得海洋生态学理学学士和硕士学位，2011年在中科院海洋所获海洋生物学博士学位。研究领域为异尾类甲壳动物的系统分类学和动物地理学。针对中国和东南亚近海的瓷蟹科以及印度西太平洋深海环境中的铠甲虾类做了大量的分类学、系统发育和遗传多样性研究；全面和系统揭示了中国近海瓷蟹科的区系构成和分布概况；总结了南海冷泉区和西太平洋部分海山区铠甲虾类的物种组成和生物多样性特征；发表新物种21种。现任中国甲壳动物学会理事、山东省动物学会理事、《应用生态学报》编委。已发表论文20余篇，申请到专利1项，参与编写专著3部。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、中科院科技先导专项、科技部基础工作专项等多个课题。
