海洋生物学

孙超岷,中国科学院海洋研究所研究员、博士生导师。近年来致力于海洋微生物资源生命过程认知及应用潜力发掘,突破了多个深海难培养微生物高效获取的关键技术瓶颈,从光能利用、暗氧产生等方面揭示了系列深海微生物物质代谢和能量转化新机制,发掘了多个在生物医药和环境保护等领域有良好应用潜力的活性物质。在Nature Communications、PNAS、EMBO J、ISME J、eLife、mBio等本领域专业期刊发表论文90 余篇,承担了国家基金委重点项目、重大研究计划、科技部重点研发计划及中科院先导专项等课题10余项。

一、研究领域  

(1)深海微生物菌种及基因资源发掘。

    针对深海特殊重要难培养微生物类群,建立基于共培养、模拟培养、原位富集的培养技术,以及基于流式细胞术、微流控等的单细胞高通量分离技术,获得难培养微生物菌种资源;通过单细胞基因组扩增测序、元基因组深度测序及文库构建等手段获得未培养微生物的基因资源,建立高容量的深海微生物菌种及基因资源库。

(2)深海微生物特殊生命过程认知。

    基于深海冷泉、热液、深渊等极端环境下的微生物,围绕深海微生物特殊能量代谢机制及耐受深海极端环境的生命特征,发现特殊生命现象,揭示相应生命过程和机制,为发掘新型活性物质的发掘提供物质和理论基础。

(3)深海微生物活性物质的发掘和利用。

建立深海微生物活性物质库,构建高通量筛选模型(抗病、抗肿瘤、降解塑料等活性),发掘有应用潜力的活性物质,揭示活性物质的生物合成及作用机制,发展人体医药、生物农药及环境保护相关生物制品。

五、研究成果及奖励        

(1)科研成果:围绕“深海微生物资源发掘利用”,着力突破深海微生物高效获取的关键技术瓶颈,创新性建立了特定物质代谢驱动的微生物纯培养技术,获得了一批深海微生物新物种,包括多个难培养微生物类群;从元素循环驱动、光能利用、暗氧产生等方面揭示了深海微生物物质代谢和能量转化新机制;发掘了多个在生物医药(抗肿瘤)和环境保护(塑料降解)等领域有良好应用潜力的活性物质,有力提升了深海微生物在重大疾病防治和新兴污染物去除领域的应用潜能。 

(2)团队建设:组建了包括研究员、副研究员、助理研究员、博士后、及研究生在内共18人的科研团队。培养的研究生中,共有16人次荣获“中科院院长优秀奖、”“国家奖学金”、中科院“地奥”奖学金、中科院“刘瑞玉海洋科学奖”等奖学金及山东省优秀博士、硕士论文。
