刘艳霞，博士，1979年生，中国科学院海洋研究所副研究员，硕士生导师，先后在中国石油大学（华东）（2003年）、中国科学院海洋研究所（2006年）和中国科学院烟台海岸带研究所（2010年）获得学士、硕士和博士学位。从2010年在中国科学院海洋研究所工作至今。期间出版专著1部，参与获得发明专利1项，参与获得部级奖励 2项，承担国家自然科学基金项目等在内的科研项目多项，现任中国海洋湖沼学会河口海岸分会理事。

五、研究成果及奖励
取得的主要研究成果包括，从沉积记录和遥感监测相结合的角度，揭示了内陆架养殖活动和台风天气事件在现代水体沉积环境和古地层沉积记录中的特征；针对变化激烈的粉砂淤泥质潮滩，提出了一种准确监测海岸线的方法；建立了空间观测、水体现场实测及地质沉积记录之间相结合研究的纽带，为研究现代和古沉积记录的多圈层相互作用提供新思路。
