环境科学
毕海波,副研究员,研究方向为极地海冰、海洋与气候变化。主要基于多源卫星遥感数据对北极地区关键水道海冰运移输出机制进行了研究,阐明了海冰平流和融化过程对太平洋扇区海冰减少的影响机制,揭示了北极海冰输出与大尺度大气活动模态和天气尺度活动形式的耦合关系,首次发现了南极云对夏季海冰存量的调控机制,加深了对两级地区的大气-海冰-海洋相互作用机制的理解。在南、北极海冰变化方面的的研究有助于提高气候变化的预测水平,利用现有研究成果积极服务于国家“一带一路”的北极战略,为“冰上丝绸之路”航道安全预警预报决策提供科学支持。申请人近期将西太平洋能量交换与北极气候环境变化的遥相关机制进行了探讨,揭示了不同PDO相位时期北极偶极子型大气环流模式在北极海冰关键区域变化中发挥的作用,研究成果得到国内外同行的广泛认可。。

五、研究成果及奖励  
围绕极地海冰与气候变化方向,本人以第一或通讯作者在Journal of Climate、Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmosphere、The Cryosphere、IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing等国内外主流权威期刊上发表研究论文34篇(第1作者13篇,通讯作者9篇),近五年(2016-2021)发表第一/通讯论文18篇(包括中科院TOP期刊5篇),申报国家发明专利10项(已授权4项),获批软件注册权2项。主持了包括国家自然科学基金项目等在内的科研项目8项,获得奖励2次。研究成果已被Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences(PNAS)、Remote Sensing of Environment、Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmosphere/Oceans、Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics、The Cryosphere、Climate Dynamics、Progress in Oceanography等主流学术期刊论文引用。
