海洋地质

徐兆凯,男,1978年生,博士,研究员,博士生导师。2007年毕业于中国科学院海洋研究所并获海洋地质学博士学位,随后赴国外从事博士后研究。20097月至今在中国科学院海洋研究所工作,期间曾以国家公派访问学者身份出国交流并兼任崂山实验室(原青岛海洋科学与技术试点国家实验室)、中国科学院海洋大科学研究中心和中国科学院第四纪科学与全球变化卓越创新中心研究员。为2013年中国科学院科技创新交叉与合作团队核心成员、国家科技专家库专家、国家自然科学基金评议专家、中国第四纪科学研究会间冰期气候与环境专业委员会委员、地质科技通报期刊编辑委员会委员、海洋地质与第四纪地质和海洋地质前沿两个期刊第一届青年编辑委员会主任委员、国际顶级地学期刊(Quaternary Science ReviewsEarth and Planetary Science LettersGeochimica et Cosmochimica ActaScientific ReportsGlobal and Planetary ChangeChemical GeologyMarine Geology)审稿专家。受邀参加国际上深海地质研究领域最前沿合作项目——国际大洋发现计划(IODP355(阿拉伯海季风主题,登船科学家)、363(西太平洋暖池主题,岸上合作科学家)369(白垩纪气候与构造主题,登船科学家)航次及航次后研究。与欧、美、亚等地多家国际知名科学研究机构间合作密切(联合申报国家自然科学基金项目、实验室和仪器设备共享、通过国家留学基金委“国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目”等途径联合培养研究生等),多次在国际(地区)和国内重要学术会议上作报告。

当前研究兴趣主要为:基于多学科交叉,从地球系统多圈层相互作用角度,探讨白垩纪以来不同时间分辨率(构造、轨道、千年、百年及现代等)层面上,亚洲边缘海和东印度洋-西太平洋暖池周边的陆表风化剥蚀作用及其产物的定量入海过程、主要控制因素及其古海洋学和古气候学效应(大气温室气体二氧化碳浓度波动、海表生物生产力水平、海底氧化-还原环境、深海有机碳埋藏通量和全球碳循环过程等),以期为人类更好地认识、预测和应对未来的全球气候变暖及大气温室气体(二氧化碳等)浓度骤增等系列危机提供坚实的区域性资料和科学依据。相应的研究载体包含IODP航次的多根高质量、长沉积物岩芯及现代(沉积物捕获器和风尘收集器等来源)沉积物样品。已在热带火山岛弧地区“硅酸盐风化”假说、热带西太平洋地区风尘“铁”假说及热带东印度洋地区“陆源有机碳海底埋藏”假说的全球碳循环效应验证以及西太平洋边界流强度历史演化新指标的提取等领域取得了创新性研究成果。
