海洋地质
李铁刚,博士生导师、研究员,1984年毕业于北京大学地质系,1996年于中国科学院海洋研究所获博士学位。1999-2000 年赴英国剑桥大学Godwin 第四纪研究所访问研究,主要从事海洋地质与古海洋学研究工作。近年来,先后承担40 余项国家攻关、国家专项、自然科学基金以及各部委调查和研究项目。参与了国家中长期科学技术发展纲要、国家大科学工程计划和重大基础设施建设计划等国家重大科技规划的编制等工作,引导中国科学院海洋地质与环境研究领域实现了向西太平洋深海研究的战略转移。曾任国际综合大洋钻探计划科学指导委员会(SSEP)委员、国际海洋研究委员会(SCOR)专业工作组成员、中国海洋学会海底科学分会副主任,中国海洋与湖沼学会、中国第四纪研究和中国微体古生物学会常务理事,《海洋与湖沼》、《海洋科学集刊》、《海洋微体古生物学报》、《第四纪研究》和《海洋地质与第四纪地质》编委以及《海洋科学》主编等。
主持完成了我国第一幅完整的1:50万渤、黄、东海底质沉积物类型图。通过研究太平洋西部边界流和热带西太平洋的温盐环流及有关热传输演化的细节过程,揭示了中国近海环流体系对全球变化的响应特征及控制机理,为过去全球系统理论的建立提供典型的区域范例。在低纬度西太平洋首次发现了硅藻席沉积事件,通过对其形成机理与环境背景的研究,从地球系统科学角度检验和论证热带西太平洋碳循环演化事件机制的假说。发表学术论文 200余篇,出版学术专著3部。获中国科学院杰出科技成就奖1项、中国科学院科技进步二等奖1项,国家海洋局科技成果创新一等奖1项、二等奖2项,中国科学院院长奖学金优秀奖1项, 2001年享受国务院政府特殊津贴,2009年入选新世纪百千万人才工程。
