　　【物种简介】

　　等节海百合目(Isocrinida)属于有柄海百合,现存4科7属23种,是一个比较古老的海百合类群,主要分布于墨西哥湾,东北大西洋及印度—西太平洋海域。主要鉴别特征是具柄,柄上长有卷枝,卷枝的数量通常是5,茎板关节呈花瓣状;萼杯呈低圆锥体或碗状,宽大于长。

　　艳红近等节海百合Proisocrinus ruberrimus,属蚌形海百合科 Balanocrinidae,近等节海百合属Proisocrinus,是深海常见的海百合物种,体型较大,鉴别特征较明显,拥有亮红的体色;腕数量通常为13-20,长约15-17cm,腕在冠的基部分枝;腕的短小末端没有羽枝,近端羽枝没有上盖板;圆柱状基板相互连接组成了明显的萼杯,辐板向外扩展形成倒圆锥形的环,萼盖在辐板间膨胀;柄长通常大于60 cm,柄的近端保留未发育完全的短小卷枝,近端柄横截面为五边形,中远端柄的横截面则为圆柱形。通常栖息于水深800-2000m的海底各种环境,包括岩石悬崖、硬质沉积物、坍塌块状物等。利用茎底部的接触盘附着在硬底质物上。馆藏标本于2018年采集自麦哲伦海山1316m水深处。
