　　【标本简介】

　　海洋所异胸虾是铠甲虾新种,成体长约18厘米,头胸甲胃区长有六边形排列的刺,螯足和步足细长,长有成列尖刺。该种与柳珊瑚共生,于2017年、2018年分别发现于卡罗琳海山和麦哲伦海山1246-1366米深度。

　　铠甲虾类是深海多样性最高的十足目甲壳动物类群之一。研究发现,在海山生态环境中,铠甲虾是底栖生态群落中的常见种或优势种。海山的铠甲虾的底色多以橙红色或橘黄色为主。
