Among them, “Oceanologia et Limnologia Sinica” is the most influential
periodical of marine science in China. |

| The information Network Center of IOCAS is one of local
information service units of China Science and Technology Network (CSTNet)
at Qingdao, with the bandwidth of 8M for the global internet and 100M for
the local area network. |

| If has over 200,000 volumes, 2,900 periodicals uith and
encompassing both Chinese and foreign languages editions ublication and
information exchanges have been established with 270 organizations in more
than 44 countries. About 470 publications, including 260original periodicals
are exchanged annually. International indexing and database searching services
are also an integral part of the library service. |
